Sports Olympiad 2024 has started at IITU!

The Sports Olympiad of teachers and employees started at the International University of Information Technologies. This year 8 teams compete in 6 sports (mini-football, volleyball, basketball, togyzkumalak, chess and table tennis).

On the first day, the participants played basketball. The winner in this sport was the team of the departments of "Economics and Business" and "Information Systems". The second place was won by the team of the Rector's Office - Rector's Office, Department of Marketing and PR, Department of Youth Policy, Career Center, Department of International Cooperation, Department of Global Education. The team of the Finance and Administration Department, Human Resources and Documentation Management Department, and Legal Department rounded out the top three.

The volleyball competition was spectacular. The first place went to the team of the Military Department, the Department of Educational and Methodological Activities and the Office-Registrar, while the second place went to the team of the "CyberSecurity" and "Department of Languages" departments. The honorable third place went to the team of the Department of Technical Support and IT Support, IITU Innovation Center, Department of Scientific Personnel, Department of Research Activities and Library.

The Sports Olympiad will end on January 19 with a solemn awarding ceremony. The winners and runners-up in the team competition and by sports will be awarded with certificates and valuable prizes.
