From August 18 to 22, the International Information Technology University hosted training sessions for representatives of the 50+ generation.
As part of the “Silver University” project, participants gained digital literacy skills, learned to confidently use smartphones, work with online services, and explore modern applications. These skills open up new opportunities for communication, learning, and active living in the digital age.
By the end of the course, 60 participants successfully completed the training and received certificates.
Here’s what they said about the project:
- “Thank you to the university for organizing courses for the silver generation - they are timely and very much needed!”
- “I am grateful to IITU’s administration, teachers, and volunteers for their respectful and caring attitude, and for such a wonderful program that helps us navigate the complex digital world.”
- “Thank you for your patience and respect for the older generation!”
- “Special thanks to the young ladies for their help. Now I can use mobile apps more confidently!”
- “These courses gave us new knowledge and confidence in the digital world.”
IITU believes that education is accessible for everyone, at any age and continues to support society’s digital development by creating educational opportunities for all generations.
