«IT FEST OPEN» Section

IT FEST OPEN is a sports programming Olympiad for schoolchildren and students. The aim of the Olympiad is to identify talented young people and stimulate the development of information technologies among schoolchildren and students. The Olympiad gives the participants an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and get a grade for each problem solution. The winners will be determined by the leaderboard according to the number of correctly solved problems and penalty time.

Prizes:

1st place - 250,000 tenge

2nd place - 200,000 tenge

3rd place - 150,000 tenge

The best 5 participants among schoolchildren in the site will receive grants from IITU and Astana IT University according to the site where they participated.

Olympiad Program:

10:30-11:30 - Registration of participants.
11:30-11:50 - Seating in computer classes.
12:00-16:00 - Olympiad.
17:00-18:00 - Closing.

Tasks: 8 to 10 tasks of varying levels of programming.

Decision Verification System:

Solutions (codes) of participants will be checked automatically on the testing system.
For each solved problem the participant will be given one point and penalty time.

Penalty time for the task:

Penalty time is the time of sending the first correct solution to the problem, to which is added the number of incorrect attempts multiplied by 20 minutes.
No penalty time is calculated for unsolved problems.

Log in to the automatic task checking system:

After logging in with their login and password, participants go to the "CONNECTIONS" tab.

Tabs are contained within the competition:

CHALLENGES: List of problems with conditions.
SEND: Send solutions.
MY SENDERS: View your solutions and code.
PLAY: A leaderboard sorted by the number of correctly solved problems and penalty time. If there is a tie, the contestant with the lower penalty time is higher in the table.
STARTUP: Online compiler for writing and testing code.
