On the 3rd and 10th of April 2021 the Department of Languages of IITU ​​held a Student’s Online Live English Olympiad among the 1st and the 2nd year students.

The Olympiad consisted of 2 rounds:

Round I - Writing an essay (250 words)

Round II - Speaking part (4-5 min)

The Olympiad procedure was presented in the format of IELTS exam.

33 students from various specialties participated in the I Round.

The right to participate in Round II is received by the students who score the highest points in Round I.

The following students became winners:

1st place – Zhanbolat Zholdybayev,1- year, CSSE.

2nd place – Assel Kadyrbek, 2 -year, FIN

3rd place – Dias Igasanov 1- year, MCM
