IITU Associate Professor Marat Nurtas Participated in an International Conference in China

Dr. Marat Nurtas, Associate Professor in Mathematical and Computer Modeling at the International Information Technology University (IITU), took part in the prestigious international conference “Boundless Digital, Smart Future – Global Dialogue and Exchange”, held in Shanghai and Zhengzhou, China, from October 19 to 25, 2025.


The event was organized by Zhongyuan University of Technology as part of the 23rd Conference on International Exchange of Professionals. It brought together leading scientists and engineers from around the world to discuss digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development.


Representing IITU, Associate Professor Nurtas delivered a presentation titled “AI Integration of Geological and Satellite Data Analysis for Environmental Modeling,” showcasing innovative research on applying artificial intelligence to environmental and geological data modeling.


During the visit, he also explored advanced technology parks and industrial zones in Shanghai and Zhengzhou, gaining insights into modern approaches to laboratory management and research infrastructure development. Familiarization with advanced practices and the experience gained will serve as a foundation for further improvement of IITU’s laboratories and research infrastructure, as well as contribute to enhancing the quality of training qualified specialists.


Following the conference, Associate Professor Marat Nurtas was granted the title of Visiting Professor at Zhongyuan University of Technology under the “Overseas High-Level Talent Program” for 2026–2028.


This achievement highlights IITU’s strong scientific potential and reinforces the university’s growing international collaboration with leading institutions across Asia.
