The International University of Information Technologies together with the University Alliance of Science and Technology with the support of the NNEF Public Foundation held the first Summer School on Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan.

The start of the summer school was marked by the round table "AI: Innovation, Transformation and Forecasts".

The meeting discussed the need for transformation of personnel who will train students within the new educational programme "Artificial Intelligence" on the basis of JSC "IITU".

The discussion was attended by Chairman of the Board - Rector of JSC "IITU" - A.K. Hikmetov, Chairman of the Board - Rector of KBTU - M.T. Gabdullin, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of Astana IT University - A.A. Beloshchitsky and Rector of UIB - A.M. Makhmetova, as well as invited speakers - Cetin E. Dr. of Gazi University (Turkey), Head of the Department of Project Management of Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture - Bushuyev S.D., and Babayev I. - Ph.D., head of the Azerbaijan Association of Project Management.

Recall that earlier the need for transformation of educational programmes was identified by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Tokayev K. at the Digital Bridge 2023 forum. The summer school will last until 27 June to introduce AI into educational programmes.
