The International Information Technology University (IITU) celebrated Nauryz — the symbol of renewal, unity, and friendship — in a vibrant and grand style.
This year, the celebration was held in a special format. The festive program “Nauryz Fest” opened with a theatrical procession called "Kosh," featuring the university’s leadership, faculty, and staff, representatives of the Kazakh Nuclear University, international guests, including a distinguished delegation from the ASIIN accreditation agency, as well as international students from Turkey, China, Iraq, Pakistan, Nigeria, Malaysia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and other countries. Also participating were the Youth Affairs Committee activists and students — winners and prizewinners of national and international competitions.
The festive concert began with a dance performance by the "Shadows" group and the traditional shashu ceremony. Welcoming speeches were delivered by the Chairman of the Board – Rector of IITU, Assylbek Issakhov, and Professor Mustafa Nauito, a guest from Germany.
The student ensemble of Kazakh folk instruments "Qazyna" performed famous kyuis. The audience also enjoyed performances by vocalists Bekulan Orynbasarov, Bekzat Atret, and Madina Myrzakhankyzy, while Orazbek Bagzhan impressed guests with his original rap performance. Members of the International Students Club also greeted the audience with creative performances dedicated to Nauryz.
All guests were treated to nauryz-kozhe, baursaks, and pilaf. Competitions in national games such as asyk atu, lyangi, togyzkumalak, and bes asyk were organized. Visitors also had the chance to swing on the altybakan, take photos with batyrs and berkutchi. The celebration concluded with a youth disco and a live performance by the vocal and instrumental band "Auen."
