IITU Joins the Coordination Committee on Online Safety
On February 24, 2025, the International Information Technology University (IITU) joined the Coordination Committee on Online Safety following a roundtable dedicated to the launch of a two-year program titled “Protecting Children from Online Violence, Abuse, and Exploitation”, implemented in Kazakhstan with the support of the Global Safe Online Fund.
The Committee will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to safeguard children in the digital environment, as well as coordinating joint efforts to enhance online safety. The Committee is led by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Youth and Family Affairs Committee under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Child Rights Protection Committee under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan..
