The Minister of Science and Higher Education, by order of March 18, 2024, approved the state educational order for the training of personnel with higher or postgraduate education in educational organizations financed from the national budget for 2024-2025, 2025-2026, 2026-2027.
The state educational order for higher education training for the 2024-2025 academic year provides for 78,219 grants, including:
- Pedagogical Sciences - 13,735 grants.
- Information and communication technologies - 10,903.
- Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction - 19,344.
- Natural sciences, mathematics and statistics - 8,288.
- Agriculture and bioresources - 2,673.
- Arts and humanities - 1,765.
- Social sciences, journalism and information - 1185.
- Business, Management and Law - 1323.
A state order has also been allocated for the training of Kazakhstani rural youth resettling in the regions determined by the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including:
- Pedagogical Sciences - 2513.
- Information and communication technologies - 384.
- For training of foreign citizens under international agreements - 365.
- For training at the branch of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education "National Research Nuclear University MEPhI" - 100. - 100.
- For the training of students in the Kazakhstan branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University - 125.
- For the education of students at Nazarbayev University, including foreign citizens - 1250.
At the same time on the scholarship program for training of foreign citizens, including persons of Kazakh nationality, who are not citizens of the RK, 490 grants were allocated. Also allocated state educational order for training of personnel with postgraduate education in educational organizations (Master's degree) - 13,119 grants. The order comes into effect from March 26, 2024.
