IITU students together with KAIB, as well as with the support of ARSIB organized the International CTF in the framework of IT FEST 2023, which was held in the city of Astana!

Thus, the universities of Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan participated in the grand battle Capture The Flag. The moderators from MUIT were students of TSIRK team: Shegay Vladislav, Vasily Marchukov, Alina Alekseeva, Baksik Miras, Mirzhakup Madi.
Thanks to the provided servers from KAIB, the competition was held at a high and professional level without any technical problems, the participants had the following tasks: FORENSICS, MISC, OSINT, CRYPTO, STEGANO and WEB
As the participants noted, the tasks were interesting and funny, and the moderators were responsive.
The competition started on November 27 at 14:00 and lasted until 02:00 am the next day. For 12 hours of persistent struggle, the winners of CTF IT FEST 2023 were determined:
1st place - Kabyl Kanat (KBTU)
2nd place - Agzamov Miras (IITU)
3rd place - Bekzhan Darmenov (AITU).
According to the results of the festival of innovative ideas IT FEST 2023 it can be noted that all sections were held at a high technical and professional level, the strongest participants from all over Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan. All participants of IT FEST 2023 fought hard and gained great experience.
