Safer Internet Day at IITU!

On February 5, on the eve of International Safer Internet Day, IITU students took part in an exciting Internet Safety Quest, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity, and on February 6, the winners were awarded.


The event, was organized to raise awareness and ensure safety in the virtual world. Students participated in an exciting quest where their knowledge and skills in social media security were put to the test.


As part of the event, the Rector of IITU spoke, emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity education and expressing pride in the students' active participation in the event.


Kaspersky Lab representative, Rayhan Absalamova personally handed out commemorative prizes to the winners of the quest. "We pay special attention to cybersecurity education, and we see that students have great potential to protect virtual space. This is an important step in the direction of Internet safety," said the representative.


International Safer Internet Day was established at the initiative of the European Commission in 2004 and has since become a global initiative aimed at creating a safe and responsible Internet space for all users.


We thank IITU students and Kaspersky Lab for their active participation in the event, reminding everyone of the importance of staying safe online. Initiatives like this contribute to creating a healthy and secure digital environment for future generations.
