The academic program Mobile Telecommunication Technologies provides modern knowledge and practical skills in mobile and wireless communication systems—from radio engineering, electronics, and programming to the design, operation, and maintenance of telecommunication networks. During the program, students learn to work with equipment, advanced infocommunication technologies, and develop skills in analyzing, designing, and implementing high-speed communication systems.The program fosters engineering thinking, teamwork, research skills, and professional communication, ensuring graduates to be competitive, ready for career growth, and further education in a rapidly evolving digital world.

— Ability to consider modern trends in electronics, measurement and computing technology, and IT in profesional activitys; proficiency in signal processing and experimental data representation

— Ability to operate wireless network equipment, identify problems and solutions, conduct experimental research and measurements, and implement experimental research programs, including technical equipment selection and result processing

— Ability to classify, measure, evaluate, design, and calculate parameters of components and nodes of wireless communication systems and process the obtained results in accordance with the technical specification, as well as provide technical support and maintenance of intelligent radio system software

— Ablity to identify and troubleshoot issues in network devices and operating systems, deploy and maintain all network components, document faults and develop recommendations for resolving them, and possess knowledge of current trends in the development of wireless communication systems.

— Extensive technical infrastructure from leading equipment manufacturers: Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu, Emona Instruments Pty Ltd, St.Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after M.A. Bonch-Bruyevich, and others

— Academic mobility agreements with universities such as Halic University (Istanbul, Turkey), Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences (Schmalkalden, Germany), Inha University (South Korea) and some others

— Training through Cisco Academy courses with opportunities for international vendor certification

— Branches of the Department operate at the facilities of the Republican Space Center, the Institute of Space Technologies, and RTEL GROUP LLP
