The academic program Immersive Technologies is aimed at training highly qualified specialists skilled in programming, prototyping modern XR-systems, creating 3D-models, animations, visual effects, user interfaces, as well as optimizing and building XR applications, and developing design documentation and artistic design. The program is oriented toward applying the acquired competencies in such areas as industrial quality control, medical visualization, geodesy, robotics, multimedia systems, virtual heritage, film and television visual effects, and computer game development. The program is implemented based on the principles of academic freedom and democratic governance in education, ensuring flexibility and adaptation of training content to the needs of individuals, society, and the modern labor market.

— Students learn not only to create 3D objects but also to program their interaction logic using game engines with in-depth mastery of industry standards, like Unity and Unreal Engine

— Programming mechanics and physics (C#, C++, Blueprints)

— Creation of 3D-assets: Modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation of objects and characters (Blender, Maya, ZBrush)

— Hardware optimization: Specifics of development for mobile devices (ARKit, ARCore) and standalone headsets (Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, HTC Vive), with strict control over performance (FPS), memory, and polygon count

— Product-oriented and spatial design mindset (UX/UI & Product Design), the program shifts the thinking paradigm from flat screens to three-dimensional space

— Simulations and digital twins: Development of complex industrial simulators, medical simulators, architectural visualizations, and virtual labs

— Skills are directly applicable in EdTech (Immersive Education), MedTech (Surgical Simulators), PropTech (Real Estate), and E-commerce (Augmented Reality for retail).
