A meeting of the National Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Kazakhstan (NAS HSEK) was held in Almaty. Currently, the organization unites more than 40 leading national universities and counts in its ranks more than 130 famous scientists of Kazakhstan and other countries.
The participants of the meeting discussed topical problems of training specialists in accordance with international requirements, formation of a national model of engineering education, development of IT-technologies, spiritual and moral education of youth and others.
During the event the elections of academicians and corresponding members of NAS Higher School of Engineering were held. Chairman of the Board - Rector of JSC “IITU” Asylbek Abdiashimovich Isakhov, Vice-Rector Dauren Kumarkhanovich Dyusebayev were elected corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences Higher School of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting there was an exchange of opinions, proposals were developed on the issues of improving the quality of Kazakhstani education and its competitiveness, promotion of universities in world and national ratings, introduction of IT-technologies in the educational process and the system of certification of domestic specialists.
