On February 13, 2023, JSC "International University of Information Technologies" will host a meeting with the Acting Ambassador of the Holy See-Vatican in Kazakhstan, Secretary of the Apostolic Nunciature, Monsignor Michele Tutalo, and Bishop of the Diocese of the Most Holy Trinity in Almaty, His Grace Jose Luis Sierra.

In September 2022, the Head of the Vatican and the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, attended the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Astana.

The Apostolic Nunciature in the Republic of Kazakhstan is the diplomatic representation of the Holy See in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was established in 1992, when Kazakhstan established diplomatic relations with the Holy See.
