On November 16 will be held 1/4 finals of the World Championship on programming among student teams! More than 200 teams from Kazakhstan will enter the competition, and our IITU is represented by 10 teams at once!
On the base of IITU will gather 50 teams, ready to demonstrate their skills and compete for the exit to the 1/2 finals - CIS championship. At this stage up to 4 teams from each university will be able to pass, having solved the required number of problems.
IITU has been organizing the quarterfinals for the second year and participating in the championship since 2009, when the university was founded. During this time, our teams have reached the World Final 8 times, consistently ranking among the best CIS teams.
At the last World Final in September 2024, the MUIT team showed amazing results:
Top 1 among Kazakhstani teams (5 teams in total)
Top 3 among CIS teams (19 teams in total)
Top 27 among 141 teams in the world
