The Library of the IITU informs that on Wednesday, September 20 in our Library will be held an information and methodological seminar "EBSCO electronic resources in the research work of the scientist"!

Venue: Scientific Library of IITU, reading room.

It will start at 19:00

The seminar includes two parts: the first part is devoted to the overview of EBSCO electronic resources available today at our University. During the second part, the EBSCO host platform will be demonstrated, methods of searching and working with scientific information will be discussed.

In particular, during the practical part of the seminar you will learn:

✓ how to compose a search query to get the most accurate search results

✓ what limiters and expanders you can use when working with resources

✓ how to upload, send, quote, export found material

✓ how to compose a search query using the thematic rubricator

✓ why you need a personal account on the platform

✓ peculiarities of working with e-books and much more.

Please bring your laptops.

The webinar will be conducted by Alexander RYTOV - regional representative of EBSCO in Kazakhstan.
