Opening of the ELBA laboratory

A laboratory was opened at the International IT University within the framework of the Elba, Erasmus + project. It is equipped with powerful modern computers, a TV for broadcasting and software with which students can increase their productivity and solve problems of big data analysis. The opening was attended by vice-rectors, university faculty, project participants, as well as representatives of several foreign universities through the ZOOM platform. Mustafina Akkyz Kurakovna and Daineko Evgenia Aleksandrovna, vice-rectors of IITU, solemnly opened the laboratory. In turn, the project coordinator Gulnara Zakirova briefly spoke about the project and its prospects. At the opening, certified professors of IITU Aidos Sarsembaev, Lyazat Naizabayeva and Yergali Dauletbek, who underwent advanced training at the University of Santiago de Compostela, conducted trainings for young scientists.


The main goal of the ELBA, Erasmus+ project is to create opportunities for training highly professional specialists in the field of Big Data Mining Analysis (IBDA) and provide access to high-performance modern IBDA tools. The opening of the laboratory is a vivid example of the fact that each project participant has made every effort to achieve the goal.
