International accreditation

THE ONLY UNIVERSITY IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN TO HAVE EARNED A 5-YEAR INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION

On March 5, 2019, the University received the decision of the ASIIN Accreditation Commission, which States that " IITU is constantly progressing and developing in the right direction and has so far demonstrated compliance with all the requirements of the Agency. After reviewing the Expert Commission’s assessment, the Accreditation Commission came to the following decision: the International University of Information Technology has fulfilled all the requirements and is accredited until September 30, 2023".

ASIIN experts confirm that the International University of Information Technology ensures that the institutional, procedural and cultural requirements for good teaching and successful learning are met. The results of the ASIIN verification procedure are shown in the published report. The report confirms the level of maturity achieved by International IT University of Kazakhstan in the following areas:

IITU accreditation means that ASIIN has evaluated the quality of our activities and recognized its compliance with the respective European standards and criteria. This means that we have created transparent educational programs and ensured their diversity, we strive to reach parity with international higher education institutions, and to raise the competitiveness of our graduates in the global labor market.

Thus, for the first time in Kazakhstan, IITU has passed the procedure of official confirmation of compliance with international standards and is the only University that has received institutional international accreditation!

The International University of Information Technology is a leading educational institution in the Central Asian region in the field of training highly qualified, internationally recognized IT specialists. The University was established in 2009 on behalf of the then President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev.

In 2016, in order to ensure quality education, the University applied for institutional accreditation with ASIIN, a German accreditation agency. During 2017, the entire staff of the University worked on the analysis of their work, prepared a self-report for the ASIIN Expert Commission. The Accreditation Commission, after carefully examining the whole range of the University activities, approved its institutional accreditation.
