IUIT Representatives Took Part in the Erasmus+ Seminar on Cybersecurity


Representatives of the International University of Information Technologies (IUIT) — Gulnara Zakirova, Talgat Nurlybayev, and Dameliya Maksutova — participated in the Erasmus+ international seminar
“Development of an Innovative Master’s Programme in Cybersecurity for the Digital Labour Market of Central Asia.”

This project is a new initiative for IUIT, and the university team has already begun its implementation. The seminar was hosted by Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and brought together representatives of leading universities from Central Asia and Europe.

During the two-day working meeting, participants:

  • developed a comprehensive project action plan;
  • identified priority and urgent tasks;
  • initiated practical implementation activities.

Professor Gulnara Zakirova, IUIT Erasmus+ Project Coordinator, presented the International University of Information Technologies to the international academic community, highlighting the university’s activities and successfully completed Erasmus+ projects.

Professor Talgat Nurlybayev presented IUIT’s plans for developing an innovative Master’s programme in Cybersecurity aligned with the needs of the digital labour market.

Representatives of European universities as well as universities from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan discussed cooperation prospects and key stages of the Cyber4CA project implementation.
