In 2016, the national team of IITU “IT Legion” became the champion in the National Student League, beating the Taraz State Pedagogical Institute with a score of 4:2 in the final. They defeated the opponent due to team play, they tuned in great for the final match. Deservedly achieved success. Having won the final of the National Student League, the International University of Information Technologies, thereby, got the opportunity in March 2017 to represent Kazakhstan at the world tournament in the Czech Republic.
