In March 2023, Laetitia Antonowicz, an international consultant of the Akelius Foundation, arrived in Kazakhstan on a working visit. During this period, pilot schools in Astana, Almaty and Shymkent, involved in a joint project with Akelius, UNICEF and IITU to improve the literacy of schoolchildren in difficult life situations, held demonstration lessons, as well as training for teachers on working with children from vulnerable groups.
