On June 15, IT University representatives and project members Zhadyrа Ongebaevа, Zhanurа Manapbaevа, and Shakirt Makilenov participated in a seminar titled "Faculty Development" in Madrid, Spain. Consortium members representing universities in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Italy, and Romania gathered in Madrid to enhance their skills in developing educational programs in cybersecurity. The project team was tasked with developing and launching an innovative Master's program in cybersecurity. On the first day, representatives from the Ministries of Education of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan presented their countries' experiences in developing educational programs. UPM Master's student in Cybersecurity Viktor Villagra (Program Manager), Diego Rivera, and Professor Slobodan Bojanić presented a model educational program that meets European standards.
